Elizaveta Shuvalova(soprano)
Elizaveta Shuvalova, soprano, was born on March 18, 1999, in Orenburg, Russia. She graduated from the A.S. Pushkin Music School in Orenburg in 2015, where she studied piano and opera singing. That same year, she was admitted to the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College in St. Petersburg, studying under Svetlana Sidorova de Sanghi, and graduated in 2019.
In 2018, she toured internationally as a soloist with the Silver Strings folk orchestra, conducted by A. Afanasyev.
In 2019, she entered the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro under the tutelage of Anna Vandi and graduated with highest honors in December 2022. She is currently in her second year of the Biennium of Singing at the Rossini Conservatory, studying with Gabriella Morigi.
Elizaveta has attended numerous masterclasses with prominent figures such as Eva Mei, Michele D’Elia, Simone Alberghini, Bruno Praticò, Bernadette Manca di Nissa, Jose Carreras, Anna Vandi, Ernesto Palacio, Renata Lamanda, Davide Damiani, Alessandro Ciccolini, and Sergey Leiferkus. In May 2023, she performed at the Ducal Palace in Urbino for National Museum Day. That year, she was admitted to the Rodolfo Celletti Academy of Belcanto. She debuted as Adina in "Il dolceamaro o la pozione magica," a pocket opera based on Donizetti's "L'elisir d'amore," at the 49th Festival della Valle d'Itria.
On July 20, 2023, she gave a solo recital at the VII Valdarno Piano Festival, directed by Andrea Turini. Later that month, she performed in two concerts as part of the "Il Canto degli Ulivi" series at the Festival della Valle d'Itria.
In August 2023, she gave a recital in her hometown of Orenburg, Russia, at the Orenburg Art Museum, featuring bel canto and chamber vocal music. On October 13, she was invited to perform at Villa Pavarotti in Pesaro for the FAI Days opening event. Elizaveta has won several prestigious international competitions, including:
- First Prize at the 1st SOI Scuola dell'Opera Italiana Fiorenza Cedolins Competition, 5th Edition, 2024
- Second Prize at the Luigi Zanuccoli International Competition in Sogliano al Rubicone, 2024
- First Prize at the 1st International Singing Competition "Premio Puccini" in Lucca, 2024
- First Prize at the "Città di Treviso" Competition for Young Musicians, 2022
- First Prize from the "Villa San Giuliano Zandonai" Foundation in Pesaro, 2021
- Second Prize at the "A. Varlamov" Vocal Competition in St. Petersburg, 2018
She is currently planning to record an album dedicated to chamber vocal music.
