REINALDO DROZ  (Tenor)

Reinaldo Droz was born in Barcelona, the state of Anzoátegui in Venezuela. He studied at the Simon Bolivar conservatory .

In 2017 made his debut as Nemorino in the opera L’elisir D’amore from Gaetano Donizetti, in the same year he participated in Raina Kabaivanska’s Master Class at New Bulgarian University and won a scholarship from the Raina Kabaivanska Fundation to continue his education with the great Bulgarian opera singer at “Vecchi-Tonelli” Music Institute, Modena, Italy.

During his studies with the great soprano got the opportunity to debut great roles like Duca di Mantova from Rigoletto of Giuseppe Verdi in the “Teatro Municipal de Caracas” in Venezuela, Daniele in the Opera Betly from Gaetano Donizetti in Switzerland, 9th symphony of Beethoven in Colombia, the long lost Requiem from Ruggiero Leoncavallo in Modena as an homage to Luciano Pavarotti the commemorative day of his passing in the theater that bears his name and Ernesto from the opera Don Pasquale by Gaetano Donizetti in the “Sofia National Opera and Ballet”. 

In the year 2021 won the first price in the fourth edition international competition for young opera singers singers “Gena Dimitrova” in the city of Pleven in Bulgaria and in 2022 First place in the “Anita Cerquetti” competition in Montecosaro, Italy.
