Inva Mula is internationally acknowledged as one of the leading sopranos of our day and has been acclaimed in the world’s leading opera houses:Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Wiener Staatsoper, Arena di Verona, Bonn, Hamburg, Los Angeles, Chicago, National Opera of Washington, Metropolitan Opera of New York, Teatro Teatro Real of Madrid, Liceo in Barcelona,etc .
She was born into an artistic family in Tirana, Albania .
Among other prestigious competitions, she has won the First Prize in the Singing Competition in Albania, George Enescu Competition of Bucarest and Madama Butterfly Competition in Barcelona. It was Placido Domingo’s Competition “Operalia“ in Paris that launched her to international fame in 1993. Since then she has performed in several concerts with Plácido Domingo throughout the world, recording one of them for SONY, at the Opéra Bastille in Paris. .
Inva Mula is a regular performer at La Scala, where she has sung in La Traviata,
Manon and Falstaff among others.
