Iolanda Massimo studied piano and opera singing at the Perosi
Conservatory, graduating with honors and receiving an academic
distinction under the guidance of mezzo-soprano Claudia Marchi.
She further refined her repertoire with Richard Barker and
participated in numerous masterclasses, studying with renowned
artists such as Raina Kabaivanska, Chris Merritt, Michele Pertusi,
and Francesco Meli. In 2021, she was selected as an active
participant at the Rossiniana Academy “Alberto Zedda,” where she
perfected her Rossini repertoire under the mentorship of Ernesto
Palacio. In August 2021, she made her debut at the Rossini Theatre
in Pesaro, performing the role of Corinna in *Il Viaggio a Reims* for
the Rossini Opera Festival. In November 2021, she won the First
International Singing Competition "Voce all’Opera" in Milan, also
receiving the Special Prize from the Belcanto Academy “Rodolfo
Celletti” in Martina Franca. In June 2022, she debuted at the Carlo
Felice Theatre in Genoa in the role of Fiorilla in *Il Turco in Italia* by
Gioachino Rossini, conducted by Sesto Quatrini. The following
month, she performed as the soprano soloist in Antonín Dvořák's
*Stabat Mater*, produced by the Carlo Felice Theatre in Genoa and
conducted by Claudio Marino Moretti. In August 2022, she made her
debut in the title role of the previously unperformed opera *Cecchina
suonatrice di Ghironda* by Pietro Generali at the Rossini Theatre in
Pesaro, under the baton of Daniele Agiman. In October 2022, she
sang at the Teatro Comunale di Modena in a concert paying tribute
to Luciano Pavarotti, conducted by Giovanni Di Stefano. In
November 2022, she debuted in the role of Donna Anna in Mozart's
*Don Giovanni* for the Ravenna Festival at the Teatro Verdi in
Salerno, under the direction of Erina Yashima. In December 2022,
she performed the role of Musetta in Puccini's *La Bohème* at the
Sofia Opera House, conducted by Paolo Andreoli, and sang at the
Teatro Municipale di Piacenza for the New Year's concert under the
direction of Sasha Yanchevych.
In February 2023, she performed the role of Deidamia in the
baroque opera *Achille in Sciro* by Corselli at the Teatro Real in
Madrid, under the direction of Ivor Bolton. The following month, she

debuted as Elvira in Rossini's *L'Italiana in Algeri* at the Teatro
Goldoni in Livorno, conducted by Marko Hribernik. In April 2023, she
starred in the Rossini concert "Tornami a dir che m’ami,"
accompanied by the G. Rossini Symphony Orchestra under the
direction of Daniele Agiman at the Teatro Sperimentale in Pesaro. In
August 2023, her first recorded production was released by
Bongiovanni, featuring her in the title role of *Cecchina suonatrice di
Ghironda* by P. Generali, in its first modern performance at the
Rossini Theatre in Pesaro.
On April 10, 2024, she will perform at the Teatro Comunale di
Modena for the ceremony marking the anniversary of Luciano
Pavarotti,
She has been selected by the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation to
represent the great tenor’s legacy in Xiamen, China, where she will
perform in a concert tour as part of the Gulangyu Music Festival.
From May to November 2024, she will be the leading performer in
seven concerts for the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro.

She has won the 3rdPrize in the 2024”Concorso Internazionale di Voci Verdiane
